You will create a Stylised Giraffe in your own time.
The length of the course is the equivalent of an intensive weekend workshop.
This course is designed to take your skills beyond prescribed kits, so that you can start to create your own designs or at least add your own features to a pattern. If you are a beginner it is still possible to follow but I would advise watching the videos first and then joining in.
I show you each step of the creation process, talking you through what I am doing and why, plus adding in tips to help you with this and other projects.
The workshop is videod in a combination of overhead and straight-on so that you do not miss a thing. There are downloadable pdf's of the template to follow and a full fibre list whether you want to use wool or plant based fibres.
In addition to the course material I have created a facebook group just for the course so that you can ask any questions or ask for extra help.

How I designed my 3D Giraffe
Learn the giraffe basics about body shaping, proportion and how to get the shape you need – what to do and what to avoid.
How to add sculpt a detailed giraffe face, with eyelashes, cheeks and needle felting those fabulous eyes.
Advice on different options and details you may want to add
Adding hair as a mane and plugs for the horns
How to trouble shoot and reshape areas that did not go to plan
Basically me taking you through EVERY STEP of my process so that you can have confidence with this and future creations.

Requirements
Basic needle felt tools, including; a mat to work on, a few needle felting needles, pipe cleaner and a variety of coloured fibres.
All equipment is listed in the course and you can adapt the model to suit the colours of wool you have.
Basic needle felting skills are required - it's a step by step process suitable for the relatively new needle felter or those looking to improve.
